BRAZILIAN PORT SYSTEM

 
The Brazilian port system consists of 37 public ports, including sea and river.
 
Of this total, 18 are delegated, granted or have operations authorized in terms of administration by state and local governments.

There are 42 private-use terminals and three port complexes that operate under concession to private companies.
